Here is a list of most common questions that we get..

Yes. We are fully insured on the water and on the ground.  

30 days prior to the course date, we will process a refund minus 5% administrative fee.

Less than 30 days prior to course date, there will not be any refunds.

If we have to cancel the course due to factors out of our control, we will give you an option to reschedule or we will provide 100% refund.

No.  We do not charter - we are sailing school that certifies with ASA standard.

We accept e-Transfers, Visa and Mastercard.

Invoice will include a link for payment using an industry leading tool for secure transaction. 

Interac e-Transfer users are protected by multiple layers of security, making the service one of the most secure money transfer services globally.

For credit card payments, we do not get access or process the payment ourselves.  We use industry leading third party processing tool, where data is secure and encrypted at all times. 

Deciding what to bring for a sailing course can be a daunting task.  Course will proceed whether sunshine or rain, unless we determine that it is not safe to proceed due to factors that we can't control.  But here are some items you should consider.

Day Sail Courses

  • Sunblock and bug spray
  • Rubber soled shoes - non marking, closed toed, non-skid
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Windbreaker or rain jacket
  • Towel
  • Waterproof bag to store your gear.
  • Lunch and snacks for day sail courses

 

Liveaboard Courses

  • Clothes for change (no suitcases please)
  • Pillow and sleeping bag (we will provide bed sheets)
  • Contact us 14 days prior to course to plan food.
  • Powerbank - not necessary but will help with charging your electronics
  • Headlamp (white/red) - charger or spare batteries
  • Hiking boots for small excursions
  • Small backpack

Provisions for liveaboard are not included - but we will plan together as part of the course.

Deposit of 50% is required to reserve and confirm your spot on the course. 

Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the course.

However, we understand that things can change and we will provide a refund (minus 5% administrative fee) up to 30 days prior to the course date.

Less than 30 days there are no refunds.

We are an independent sailing school and an ASA affiliate.   

ASA certification is a top quality program that is suitable for beginner as well as advanced sailors. 

Due to the high quality of learning material and well designed progressive syllabus, we have decided to pivot our focus to teaching according to the ASA standards.

Yes.  We can do private lesson on our boat or your boat.  Please contact us to check availability

No.  We do not do boat deliveries.  Our main focus is on sailing education.  

Your comfort, safety and quality of education is our key priority.  

For day sail courses there will be maximum 4 students plus instructor and for liveaboard maximum 2 students plus instructor.

You are welcome to bring your own PFD, but we will have enough PFDs for all students.

PFDs must be warn at all times - there will be no exceptions.
